St. Charles, Geneva and Batavia sit in a row along the Fox River and get talked about as one market, which they are not. Different school districts, different commutes, different housing stock, different price behavior. Each page carries current listings for that town.
The largest of the three and where I live. District 303, the Main Street corridor, and everything from 1920s homes near the river out to newer subdivisions on the west side.
District 304 and a UP-W Metra station in the middle of town, which shapes both who buys here and what they pay attention to.
District 101, a riverwalk of its own, and a market that tends to move a little slower than its two neighbors. Worth a look if St. Charles and Geneva are coming up short.
